12.19.10 - Christmas at the Pfeisters - by Emily

We had a short trip in Ohio, only 4 days, but it was packed with lots of fun! We got to go sledding one night with Jeremy and Katiera and their kids, and Micah had lots of fun!

We went to the big hill at Firestone, and Micah went down the big hill with us once, which he liked, but then he didn't want to go down the big hill anymore so he went down the little hill. But every time Ryan and I went down the big hill he would walk down and meet us half way as we walked up.

He had so much fun walking up and down the hill! It was fun to spend time with Noah and Maggie and Anika too! I'm glad Micah gets to play with his cousins!

We also had our Pfeister Family Christmas party. This began Saturday when we met at the Salvation Army and put together and passed out over a hundred boxes of food and delivered them to people who needed them.

I love this tradition of my family. I love that we get to fellowship and serve together for our Christmas party! Sunday was our official Pfeister Party. Kari joined us this year and was an honorary Pfeister for the day.

We went to Uncle Kent and Aunt Allison's this year and everyone had lots of fun! There were so many kids! Lots of my cousins have kids Micah's age so he had tons of fun too! It was so neat to have them all together!

We had a great time with our family. I wish I could be around more to spend time with them all! And we all really missed having my Grandma there this year. I know that she has it a lot better actually getting to be in the presence of Jesus though! I can't wait to be there with her someday worshipping along side her!
