4.24.09 - Kari Flunker in the Bahamas

It was so wonderful to have my sister Kari stay with us for a few weeks. Somehow she found the time off of work to come down and visit both while mom and dad were here, and for a few weeks after they left.

Although she has been to the Bahamas before, she has never been to Eleuthera. She said that our island feels "untouched" in comparison to the other places she has seen in the Caribbean.

It was a great visit for Emily, because Kari loves to watch Micah and both Emily and her got to do all kinds of things that we don't usually do. There were trip to up north to Spanish Wells, bonfires, and many trips to the beach - even surfing.

I enjoyed getting to play catch with Kari, and she was a huge help in taking care of our new pup, Tag.

While she was here it felt a lot like home, and she was an enormous help. We told her that we've got her room ready for her ANYTIME she wants to come back! Micah misses you already, Kari!
