2.28.08 - Double Pfeister Fun - By Emily

The past few weeks have been so fun! My Dad and Mom came to visit on February 16th, and spent the weekend with us, and then they traveled to Houston and San Antonio for the week, and in the meantime my brother, Jeremy, and his wife Katiera and their kids Noah and Maggie came to visit! Then when they left Dad and Mom came back for the weekend and my birthday! So we had a really fun and busy couple of weeks!

Jeremy and his family had never been to Dallas before, so we got to show them around the city a little and the Seminary and my school too. They stayed at our apartment, and it was so fun to play with the kids, who instantly found use for little baby Micah's toys! Noah wanted to go swimming the whole time, but it was too cold. It sure was fun to have them stay with us! I miss seeing them!

When Dad and Mom were here we went shopping and out to eat a lot! We also spent a fun evening playing games and a few evenings watching movies together. The whole time was a treat for us, it felt like a vacation. There's something refreshing about being with family even when when you are still at home and have to go to work every day. I loved having them here! It was fun to laugh with my mom, although I had a bad dream one night that I was having my baby and when I called Ryan he said he was too busy to come and that I would be fine because my mom was there. Poor Ryan got playfully slugged by my mom when I told the story of my dream! My birthday was very fun too! We went to a fondue restraunt, and had my favorite ice cream cake!

I am looking forward to the next few months when we'll get to see our families again! This is such an exciting time!
